This Peak Season Africa Safaris tour takes you to 3 Days Kenya Safari to Samburu National Reserve in Kenya, stopping at the equator crossing at Nanyuki en route. The reserve is home to rare Northern species of the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and reticulated giraffe. The reserve has over 900 elephants, large predators, numerous bird species, and occasionally-seen wild dogs. Day 1 : Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
At around 7:30 am, you will be picked up from the airport or your hotel room in Nairobi. After introductions, we head to Samburu National Reserve via the Nanyuki-Isiolo road. Samburu National Reserve is located in Northern Kenya on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro River. The reserve has a rich and diverse collection of wildlife with abundant Samburu “Special Five” animals, including the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and the Beisa oryx. These animals are mostly only spotted in Samburu and Northern Kenya.
Arrive in time for lunch and check in at Samburu Simba Lodge. After lunch, you will be taken on an afternoon game drive to encounter the park’s vast array of wildlife. Your dinner and overnight stay are at your lodge.

Day 2 : Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, you will be taken for an early morning game drive. Many wildlife are seen early in the day as they are on a hunt or kill. Many waterholes and salt licks with shady areas attract wildlife, and you will be taken to these spots for the best game viewing. Lunch will be served in the park as a picnic, maximizing your exposure to the animals.
After the lunch break, you will continue game viewing and photographing the enormous array of animals you encounter. The reserve has many predators, and visitors often see these animals hunting and catching their prey. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 3 : Samburu – Nairobi
After breakfast, you will be driven back to Nairobi, arriving late afternoon. Depending on your schedule, you can visit the Giraffe Centre in Karen on the return journey, where you can feed and stroke the giraffes that live there. You will then be driven back to your hotel in Nairobi or the airport to catch your next flight. This marks the end of this unmatched journey.
